This Privacy Policy describes how GPT Image 2 AI ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. This page is a plain-English summary of our practices; it is not legal advice and will be reviewed and finalized by counsel before general availability.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google we also receive the name and profile image associated with your Google account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Content you submit. When you generate an image we store the text prompt, any reference images you upload, the generation parameters (aspect ratio, model, etc.), and the resulting image. This data is associated with your account so you can access your history.
Usage and diagnostic data. We log standard request metadata (timestamp, IP address, user agent, route, response status) to operate the Service, detect abuse, and diagnose errors. We log model-level events (which model ran, how long it took, whether it succeeded) to monitor reliability and bill credits correctly.
Payment information. When you purchase credits, payment is processed by our payment provider. We receive a transaction reference and the amount — we do not receive or store your full card details.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: running generations, returning results, showing your history, and maintaining your credit balance.
- To secure the Service: detecting abuse, rate-limiting, preventing fraud, and enforcing our terms.
- To improve the Service: aggregate analytics on performance, error rates, and feature usage. We do not train models on your prompts or uploaded images without your explicit consent.
- To communicate: sign-in links, transactional receipts, and — only if you opt in — product updates.
How we share information
We share information only in these cases:
- Service providers who run infrastructure on our behalf (hosting, storage, email delivery, payments) under contracts that limit their use of the data to operating the Service.
- Model providers when we route your generation request to an upstream model. Only the data required to fulfill the request (prompt, reference images, parameters) is sent.
- Legal requirements when we are required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we need to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.
- Business transfers if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case we will provide notice before your information is transferred.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period after deletion to meet legal and audit obligations.
- Generated images and prompts are retained until you delete them or delete your account. Deletion is propagated to our storage and backups within 30 days.
- Operational logs are retained for up to 90 days.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly in your account settings. For anything else, contact us at the address below.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
We operate globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email before they take effect. The "Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
